In commemoration of Women's Month, we explore the triumphs and tribulations of widows in South Africa. Palesa Mguli, a widow of 18 years, and Dr. Bongi Owusu, Director of the Widows Program at the Department of Social Development and author of "Silent Pain." Together, they shed light on the grief, economic challenges, and societal stigmas faced by widows, and the support programs in place to aid them.
